Technology Group
The BNC Technology Group meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month. The purpose of the group is to facilitate structured networking among technology professionals and keep up-to-date with the latest trends in technology. A brief presentation on a technical issue or other area of professional concern is followed by speed networking. Our technology community fosters support and knowledge-sharing with people in or interested in technology.
About the Group Leader
Jean Pickering is a computer consultant with over 20 years of experience. She began her IT career designing and developing user interfaces for non-technical people. Her strengths include website development, wikis, search engine analysis, user-interface design, quality assurance, training, project management, business analysis, and documentation. Currently Jean is the President of The Tektite Group. The Tektite Group is a software and website consulting firm which works with small companies, entrepreneurs, and start-ups. "We believe that by demystifying technology, we empower our clients."
