David Carman

David Carman, President

David has over 30 years of experience in the financial markets including 19 years as a trader on the floor of the Chicago Board Options Exchange and 6 years as an equities trader at Bright Trading.  After leaving the trading arena, David spent two years as a wealth advisor including a stint at Rothschild Investment Corporation, a privately-held investment boutique firm in the Chicago Loop.  Currently, David is the founder and CEO of Carman Capital, a venture capitalist firm that helps entrepreneurs raise capital and transform their ideas into commercially successful ventures.  David is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Kirsten Nieradtka

Kirsten Nieradtka, Founder & Past President

Kirsten is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach who had her own coaching business while running the Breakfast Network Club.  In 2005 she was recruited to join a major financial regulatory institution in the area of Talent Management, where she does coaching and leadership development.  As a member of the BNC Board of Directors, she works closely with David Carman, President, on questions related to the strategic direction of BNC.  Kirsten earned an MBA from the University of Michigan and a B.S. from Georgetown University.  She can be contacted directly at kirsten@youthecreator.com.

Jim Jakala

Jim Jakala, Director of Marketing

Jim has been a member of BNC since 2002.  He is a sales and marketing management professional with an extensive background in the food, beverage and consumer packaged goods industries.  His previous employers include Daymon Worldwide, Judge & Dolph, Topco Associates and Market Facts (Synovate).  He has an MBA from Loyola University Chicago and a BS from Illinois State University.  Jim is currently in transition.

Troy Fergen

Troy Fergen, Director of Special Events

Troy has worked in a variety of industries over the past thirty years.  For the last twelve years, he has had his own firm Fergen Consulting Group with the emphasis on managing implementations of complex information systems.  Currently, he is performing forensic accounting analyses, and aiding companies moving to Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Software as a Service (SaaS) for IT solutions to business problems.  Troy has a CPA and a CPIM and for five years was president of a chapter of Individual Investors.  He has a degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Michigan and studied for a PhD in Accounting at SUNYAB.

Bill Bonetti

Bill Bonetti, Webmaster

Bill has over 30 years of experience in software development and IT leadership, including 21 years managing and developing software products and 6 years in IT management.  Currently, Bill is an IT Program Manager responsible for the management of multiple web-based software projects.  Bill has a B.S. in biology from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Minnesota.  He is certified by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
